The PaaS
Support
Younicycle does not currently have a formal, Standard support contract which defines a specific number of Customer trouble tickets, contacts & caveats. This is to your Benefit as we will provide the essence of most Support Contracts without charge, until such time as we make available a formal support contract.
If you have a Question, Contact us. Someone will reply as expeditiously as possible, usually within 1 day.Note: This applies to Accounts (online Younicycle) or customers (licensed Younicycle Server Package).
If you spot a 'bug', let us know with details & screenshots. Note that a bug - is not a feature request. If possible, we will fix legitimate bugs in the current vsn. If not possible, we will attempt to address in the next vsn.
The next vsn (v4) of Younicycle is planned to be released in late 2011. Customers with a licensed Younicycle Server Package 3 (this vsn) will be given the opportunity to Upgrade to V4 at no charge. For online Accounts, this will be seamless.
The Staff of Younicycle does not purport to be Hardware Experts/Engineers. Service or support for your Server Hardware or local network must be provided by a qualified Technician or Admin/Engineer at your location. Nevertheless, we will attempt to help you troubleshoot via email. (applies to Younicycle Server Package).
Though it should be obvious, we will explicitly state that it is to our benefit to have the online vsn of Younicycle provide uninterrupted service. Nevertheless, it is probable that there will be points in time where service may be sluggish - or interrupted. In the event of an interruption, we will do our best to restore ASAP. Note that most interruptions anywhere on the web, originate with the web and as such cannot be controlled by Younicycle. Each 'hop' is a potential failpoint. If an interruption occurs while you are using the GYRE, if possible - do NOT close the window as you will lose any current, unsaved work. Younicycle's servers PING any open GYRE periodically - and when service is restored, so will your connection.
We encourage you to maintain an Account + a Younicycle Server Package (local install). Doing so gives you an 'insurance policy' against local - or web failure.
Neither people, hardware, networks nor software are perfect. Recognition of that fact is realistic.
